At Egiving, we don’t view you as a client or a business partner, but as colleagues in ministry. Because of that unique relationship, we want you to see working with us as an ongoing relationship in which we are helping you fund service to the Kingdom of Christ. We don’t even make our services available to non-Christian organizations. But if you represent a church or parachurch ministry that wants to revamp your financial donations system, we’re here to help.
Introductions
Your relationship with E Giving Systems begins on Egiving, where you can read more about us and then introduce yourself and your ministry to us. Just like when two people planning for a long-term relationship meet one another for the first time, there are questions that come up. Sometimes, those questions can cause introspection and even personal growth. We hope that the questions we ask on our sign-up form do just that, for your ministry. As you discuss your goals and overall vision, it will help you become more unified and purposeful as you move forward. It will also help us to make appropriate suggestions as we work with you to create a unique collection of electronic giving tools suited to your needs.
Commitments
It may seem a little early in our new relationship to ask for a commitment, but by asking you to agree to our “Memo of Understanding,” we’ll take some major strides in our new partnership. First, you’ll get to know the heart of what we do and the kinds of services we offer. Second, we’ll be assured that you understand and agree with the direction we want our relationship to go. Third, we’ll both understand that we are truly beginning a significant relationship in which both sides are fully vested.
One way in which E Giving Systems is different from many other companies that might offer similarly effective electronic financial management systems is that we’re not a company, but a ministry, like yours. Another way is that we’re not into just providing the technology, but guiding you in how to implement and utilize it for your particular ministry, offering training, support, and guidance all along the way.
Communication
Like any significant relationship, ours hinges on quality communication. Once we receive notice of your interest in partnering with us, we’ll send you an e-mail with detailed information about fees and processor requirements. Our default processor, like all our partner organizations, is a Christian company. Stewardship Technology has its own requirements, so you’ll need to fill out that form and fax it back to us, along with the signed fee addendum.
After reviewing that second set of documents, the communication will become more personal. As we get to know each other, we look forward to a long-term relationship in which we help you grow in both your understanding of Biblical stewardship and your ministry’s effectiveness in utilizing electronic giving tools to enhance your Kingdom effectiveness.
