Combs Concrete Construction – Industrial, Commercial & Residential Services

Last updated on December 26, 2018 by Sozo Staff Leave a Comment

Combs Concrete Construction Company (combsconcrete.com) has a long and impressive legacy. The company was started back in 1955. Founder Ray Combs completed his years in the United States Army and began to provide premium concrete service to customers throughout Greater Dayton/Miamisburg, Ohio. In the 1970s, Ray decided to move his family to an area of the country with a warmer climate. When he relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina, he re-launched his business in this new location. The company he founded in this area has become a large-scale operation. Today, this thriving company provides commercial, industrial, and residential concrete construction to a variety of customers throughout the region. Listed below are some of the types of projects we’ve successfully completed. We’re dedicated to going the extra mile to see to it that our customers are completely satisfied with our service.

Our Industrial Services

Industrial concrete work is one of our specialties. We’ve been able to provide exceptional service on all sorts of different infrastructure projects and industrial facilities, such as warehouses and power plants ranging from small, to medium, to colossal in size. We pride ourselves on our versatile skills, such as constructing concrete flumes and ditches, cast in place headwalls, lined retention bases, pipe encasements, heavy foundations, and box culverts. We’re known for our proven track record of safe, effective industrial concrete service throughout North and South Carolina.

Apartment building

Our Commercial Services

We’re proud to meet the diverse needs of our commercial concrete customers. We’ve tackled large-scale projects, such as government and municipal buildings, sprawling apartment complexes, healthcare centers, educational institutions, sports complexes, dining establishments, and parking structures.

From concrete paving, to slab on metal deck, to slab on grade, to tilt up or cast in place walls, we do it all. We’re equipped to complete both horizontal and vertical concrete projects. We’re even certified as a Department of Transportation contractor and a pervious concrete contractor. Our team is ready and willing to work on projects that require skill and equipment that many other contractors don’t have the tools or expertise to handle.

Residential concrete work

Our Residential Services

Even though the scope of our service projects has grown significantly to include both large commercial and industrial projects, we still take on residential concrete construction projects as well. Many of our customers are builders who are constructing entire neighborhoods of new and custom homes. We also continue to work on small-scale residential projects, such as driveway replacements and repairs. Our team also provides poured concrete service for residential basements, turnkey footings, monolithic slabs, patios, and driveways. Our company was the original provider of poured in concrete basement walls for residential customers throughout the Charlotte, North Carolina region.

As our record shows, Combs Concrete Construction Company offers reliable service. We strive to earn customer loyalty with our attention to detail and commitment to quality. The same values of hard work and refusing to cut corners that defined our founder’s approach to concrete work continue to drive our company’s present-day success. We look forward to a bright future serving our industrial, commercial, and residential customers in the years that lie ahead.
