Rehmeyer’s Charleston Oak Hardwood Floors

Since 1995, Rehmeyer Wood Floors have been providing custom wide plank custom flooring throughout the United States and Canada.  Each board of our hand-crafted flooring is unique, and each board comes together for a truly one-of-a-kind work of art. Until 2009, the kind of premium wide plank hardwood flooring offered by Rehmeyer was unattainable to those who needed flooring already in stock and ready to go. Our newest line of Pre-Finished stock floors, offers convenience and competitive pricing while still offering superior quality.

Compare and Contrast

Like our 5 Custom Collections and Extreme Custom flooring, our Stock Flooring offers wide-plank hardwood flooring whose timeless beauty will stand the test of time. All our floors are manufactured at our mill in southern York County, Pennsylvania, with the personal touch only small businesses like ours can offer. From customer service to handcrafted beauty, all our floors come with a personal touch appreciated by customers and flooring professionals alike. Unlike our Custom Collections, though, our Stock Flooring comes with fewer options. Instead of being custom-made according to customer specifications, they come pre-finished and already packaged for easy transportation and storage.

Available Options

While Rehmeyer Stock Floors don’t include as many options as our Custom Collection Flooring, they do come in your choice of 5 distinctive species. Charleston Red Oak offers a traditional look, while Milano Walnut uses unsteamed character-grade lumber to complement an elegant design. Harvest Wheat achieves a look that showcases the gorgeous character and grain patterns of White Oak. Both the sandy coloring of Island Sand Hickory and the reddish tones of Sedona Cherry that grow richer as time goes by, help you achieve a rustic appearance.

All those species are available in widths of 3, 4, or 5 inches and some can be paired with eye-catching accessories, such as floor vents or wainscoting, that coordinate with our flooring for a beautiful custom look.

Additional Details

All our Stock Floors are crafted from ¾” solid quality hardwood and include micro-beveled edges and ends. The lengths range from 12 to 84 inches and are comprised of end-matched pieces that are tongue and grooved. Each is finished with care with our custom finish. (This finish can be recoated after being prepared and sanded.) This finish offers a natural appearance while providing a resilient surface that will stand the test of time.

For those who desire the kind of quality for which Rehmeyer Wood Floors has become well known but require the convenience and timely availability of Stock Floors, we’re pleased to be able to meet your needs.
