From time-honored, traditional designs to Extreme Custom floors that push the envelope of artistic expression to the next level, you can be sure that your Rehmeyer Wood Floor will be milled from responsibly harvested lumber or reclaimed wood and finished by the hands of expert craftsmen who take pride in their work. If you choose to let us work with you to create your new wood floor, you’ll find that our Collections, Creativity, Consistency, and Consideration are all premium grade.

Collections

Each is available in your choice of 11 wood species, creating an impressive 55 potential species-collection combinations from which to tailor your Rehmeyer Wood Floor. Have your floor finished with our protective Tung Oil finish, and take a look at our other options and coordinating accessories to enhance your custom look.

Creativity

Even with over 55 possible combinations, you may be the creative type with ideas of your own. Here’s the thing: We welcome your unique design ideas!

Our Extreme Custom collection isn’t really a collection at all, but a category of flooring that embraces the exotic and encourages creative license.

While some of our customers have come up with designs as distinctive as Pin-Striped Walnut with a Hard Maple Feature Strip or Dramatic Red Ash, we’re always willing to try something new and innovative designed just for you!

With a Rehmeyer Extreme Custom Wood Floor featured recently in the “Best of Show” from the 2014 Pennsylvania Street of Dreams Builder’s Showcase, we’re confident that these one-of-a-kind floors will be show-stoppers in any venue.

Consistency

While appearance is certainly important, and we put a lot of effort into crafting beautiful floors, we also realize that stability is extremely important in a Wide Plank Floor. We start with a ¾” thick 11-ply Baltic Birch core, allowing for great stability.

Our Engineered floors also include a 3/16” layer that gives us room for our Distressing and Scraping techniques, along with any Mortising for Hand-Shaped Decorative Pegs. We do all this at our York County, PA mill, creating unique Wood Floors.

Consideration

While we love our Wood Floors — and think that you will, too — we love our customers even more. As much as we carefully select each board and apply finishing techniques, we offer that same level of attentiveness to our customers.

Wow, that shot of the kitchen in the first photo looks beautiful. I love how wide the boards are. The narrow 3 or 4 inch boards just remind me of 100-year-old houses. I prefer the 6 inch wide ones, which is what we have in our kitchen.
