Poetry has long been a written art form involving the poet and a pen. Times are changing, though, and with the boom in technology and the advent of the internet, there are more outlets and a variety of ways for poets to be creative and still keep up with the arising use of technology.
A poet could, for example, write poems the length of a Facebook status. That person could create a stream of poems in this form, and save them to a flash drive. Then, every day, a new portion of that poem can be uploaded onto Facebook. Another way a poet can be creative with the use of technology is to utilize the paint programs or, if really knowledgeable, implant the poems in a photoshopped picture or photograph.
There are a variety of ways poets can use technology and the internet to enhance their work.
