Berg Furniture offers several multi-featured children’s furniture lines: Space Savers, Loft Beds, Enterprise, and Captain Beds. All four collections are made in the U.S.A. (in Berg’s New Jersey factory) and include plenty of smart storage.
Note: The Berg Furniture line was discontinued by the manufacturer a number of years ago. We were sad to see it go! However, we continue to offer many other fine collections of kids & teen furniture, including our ever-popular Maxtrix Collection (and all the images on this blog post now reflect our Maxtrix Collection).
The Space Savers beds can include Twin-over-Full Beds with a Bottom Full-Sized Platform Bed with a Built-in Storage drawer at the foot of the bed, along with a lighted bookcase headboard — or you can eliminate the headboard to save 6” in depth. You can choose from one or two 5-Drawer Chests with a Built-in Bookshelf or a Desk. The Signature 4-Drawer Staircase can be installed on either side. As an alternative, the set can be purchased as a Loft, without the bottom bed. The Enterprise line includes a Twin-over-Full option, as well.
The Twin Dorm Loft Bed provides the ultimate in space-savings, including a 5-Drawer Staircase, a 6-Drawer, Full-Length Desk with Cork/Shelf Backing. (The Backing and wide 3-Drawer Chest are both optional, though.) The Bifecta Bed can accommodate up to 3 Twin-Sized Beds.
As an alternative to a Full Loft or Bunk Bed, along with a more teen-friendly look, the Captain’s Bed includes a Pull-Out Desk and Storage Stairs, along with the option of a Twin or Full-Sized Bed. The Deluxe Pull-Out Desk is on wheels for easy access, as well as Pencil Drawers and Open Shelves. The 3-Drawer Dresser has a Door Cabinet, and the Platform Bed can be fitted with either High or Low Platform Sides Without Stairs.
Most Berg lines come in any of their 5 finishes: White, Pewter, Brandy, Chestnut, and Nutmeg; in addition, you can choose from an accent color of your choice, as well. For added personalization, several hardware color options are available.
