Kids are small. Toddlers, even smaller. So their stuff shouldn’t take up too much space, right? Well, as any parent knows, wrong. Toys, clothes, dress-up costumes, playhouses – it all starts to add up. Efficient storage is the key to an organized – and happy – home. The Bedroom Source’s Maxtrix® bedroom furniture provides fun and compact storage options for your child’s room.
Drawers
No matter how neatly you can make piles and sort your children’s belongings, it still looks like clutter. And clutter tends to look messy. So, instead, use some of Maxtrix’s clever storage options. Most notably: drawers. No matter how messy a drawer is, you can close it, and a peaceful, neat atmosphere is maintained.
Maxtrix has a variety of compact options for drawers. You may be considering traditional bunk beds, but consider the staircase bunk. Did you know there are drawers in the steps? Not only can your child easily get to the top bunk, but you can store toys, clothes, sheets in the drawers. The loft beds are specifically designed to fit a set of drawers and a bookcase or a smaller set of drawers – two storage options fitting neatly under your child’s bed, freeing up bedroom space. You can even purchase all three as a set!
Playhouse
Children love playhouses – whether it be a place to play Mommy, defend a castle, or be a princess. But a bulky plastic playhouse can be a nuisance, so why not combine bed and playhouse? You can add a fun top tent to any Maxtrix bed! A underbed curtain can be added to bunk and loft beds, creating the ideal play space!
Desks
A playhouse wouldn’t work so well for an older child or teen, but consider: as a child grows, so does the homework load, and a desk might be a great addition. The end of a desk can tuck under a low loft with a smaller set of drawers. The high or ultra high loft accommodates a desk and desk chair and creates a cozy study space. And, again, this frees up space in your child’s bedroom!
Good Old Miscellaneous
Stuff stored under a bed collects dust – not healthy and not fun. For a bed that’s normal height, you can add an underbed drawer that holds and nicely hides clutter. Maxpacks hang on the side of a bed, and you can drop whatever you need inside. You can even get a beverage holder, bedside tray, or magazine rack that also hangs on a bed.
As your child grows, you can add storage. Maxtrix provides toy chests, dressers, nightstands, bookcases, desks, and chairs. All of these come in Maxtrix’s three shades: white, chestnut, and natural, which takes away any worries about matching furniture!
The right kind of storage makes a world of difference. With Maxtrix your house can be neater, your child’s belongings easier to find. And, in the end, you can be happier and more relaxed in your home.
