3 Levels of Options for Your Maxtrix Bed

Last updated on March 29, 2017 by Sozo Staff Leave a Comment

Maxtrix Low Loft White Storage Bed

The Bedroom Source offers many children’s bedroom sets that come with an abundance of options — options ranging from bed style and storage piece selection to finish color and hardware style. But none of the other sets we carry or have ever seen elsewhere in over 20 years in the children’s furniture business can hold a candle to the ultimate customization offered by the Maxtrix® children’s furniture system. This revolutionary approach to children’s bedroom furniture not only allows for plenty of options in your original purchase, but an unprecedented potential for morphing your furniture into completely different configurations, as your child grows and his or her needs change.

Your Original Maxtrix Options

The choices you make at the outset certainly aren’t the only ones you’ll make, but they will offer a bit of continuity throughout your own unique Maxtrix furniture set. First, choose from Curved, Panel, or Slatted headboard style. Then choose from Chestnut, Natural or White finish. After that, you’ll want to choose how you want your child’s bed to start out. If you have a toddler or preschooler, we recommend that in the interest of safety, you start with a low-to-the-ground Maxtrix day bed. You’ll also want to select a low-profile mattress (which can be delivered from the Bedroom Source, along with the furniture you order, at no additional charge).

The Basic Maxtrix Daybed

To the basic Maxtrix Daybed, you can add storage in the form of trundle drawers or a trundle bed. Other add-ons for Daybeds include a bed-top tent,  cushions,  or 4 posts with corner fabrics and a canopy — any of which are available in a variety of fabric options, suitable for either gender. A safety rail can also be added to make the Daybed function as a toddler bed. If your child is older and able to climb safely, you may want to consider alternative bed styles; even then, the basic Maxtrix Daybed is the basic building block from which you will work. Watch the video below for a demonstration.

Maxtrix Beyond-Basic-Bed Options

The Maxtrix Daybed can be converted into any number of Storage Bed, Loft Bed, or Bunk Bed configurations, and can be paired with many other Maxtrix furniture pieces. Thanks to patented “Rock Lock” connectors (as seen in the video below), the basic Maxtrix Daybed can be safely lifted to low, medium, high, or ultra-high heights with a specially designed Maxtrix leg extension kit.

Whether you use the leg extensions to pair a bed with an additional bed (or 2 or 3!) or to create a Storage Bed or Loft Bed, you won’t have to worry about unsafe wobbling. You’ll also want to chose a means of access for any raised bed. Maxtrix offers three possibilities: Side Stairs, Angled Ladder, or Straight Ladder.
