For Parents Who Value Safety: A Look at Maxtrix Children’s Furniture System

You drill your kids about dangers outside your home — things like cars, strangers, deep or fast-moving water. At the same time, you try to keep them safe when they’re inside your home. From mold and allergens to electrical hazards and online predators, you’re on top of it. But what about your furniture? The most significant furniture, of course, is the stuff your child your child will be using while you are asleep and when he or she is largely unsupervised.

Sure, you can anchor furniture and make sure that what you have is properly assembled. But perhaps even more important is making sure the furniture you trust in your kids’ bedrooms is designed with safety in view. The Maxtrix® children’s furniture system, on display in Long Island at The Bedroom Source, is ideal for those parents who want only the best for their kids.

Safety for Toddlers

If you’re not a rookie parent, you already know this, but not everything you use for your babies or toddlers has to be marketed as such. In fact, often retailers get us to spend more money thinking we need bags labelled as “diaper bags” for that stage of childhood. Not only is a toddler bed or youth bed not necessary in the transition from crib to “big kid bed,” but it can also mean compromising safety.

Unlike typical youth beds, the Maxtrix Basic Bed is sturdy enough to support a full-grown adult instead of merely the resting weight of a small child. Tested to support 800-pound loads, the 14, 3.5-inch slats will provide a safe surface for even the most active toddler — and last him or her through childhood and the teen years.

Safety for Big Kids

While Mom and Dad may appreciate not having to purchase new furniture for every stage in their child’s development, kids often enjoy the excitement of transitioning to a “big kid” bed or getting to pick out new furniture. With Maxtrix, you get the best of both worlds.

As your child grows, the same Basic Bed can take on a new look with use of our Top Tents — or can grow into a Loft Bed, allowing for either storage or play space underneath. A Curtain, Tower, or even a Slide can make it even more entertaining — without compromising safety. The Maxtrix Leg Extensions utilize rock-solid Rock-Lock technology that means gaining height does not mean missing out on safety.

Safety for Multiple Kids

Not only can the Basic Bed of the Maxtrix System morph into a Low, Medium, or High Loft Bed, but multiple Basic Beds can also be combined into one of many possible Bunk Bed configurations. Ranging from traditional Double Bunks to Triple Bunks or even Quad Bunks, Maxtrix offers options such as L-Shaped Bunks, Twin-Over-Full Bunks.

Added safety components include the same sturdy Leg Extension hardware as our Loft Beds, along with high Guard Rails and Staircase or Angle Ladder with Handrails as safer alternatives to the more traditional Straight Ladder found on most Bunk Beds.
