Every retailer, every brand, has a main priority and an image they desire to project. Some children’s furniture stores pride themselves on carrying a wide variety of furnishings, appealing to different tastes and budgets. Others may have a certain style in view, with selections again running the gamut when it comes to price. Still others may aim to appeal to those whose main aim is to keep the costs low.
Here at The Bedroom Source, located in Carle Place on Long Island, we do carry a variety of styles, but our main concern is quality. Specializing in quality children’s furniture, The Bedroom Source is very selective about the premium furnishings we recommend to our discriminating customers.
One of the limited number of brands we recommend is Berg Furniture. Why are the Berg lines some of our customers’ favorites? We have our hunches, but let’s take a closer look.
Berg Furniture’s 4 children’s collections are known for including creative storage solutions. When square footage is especially at a premium, the Sierra Space Savers line is a perfect fit. Sleep solutions include Loft Beds, which provide extra space for storage or study, as well as Twin-over-Full Beds that maximize sleep space while also providing a Built-in Storage drawer at the foot of the Bottom Full-Sized Platform Bed.
You can opt to either save 6” depth by eliminating a headboard or add storage and lighting with the lighted bookcase headboard. Additional storage pieces include the Signature 4-Drawer Staircase, which can be installed on either side of the Bunk Bed, a Desk, and 5-Drawer Chest that comes with a Built-in Bookshelf.
Two other popular lines from Berg — Utica Lofts and Enterprise, also include space-saving beds. The Enterprise has a Twin-over-Full Bunk Bed, and the Utica has a Bunk Bed as well as a Loft Bed option.
The Utica Twin Dorm Loft includes a 5-drawer staircase and coordinates with the Full-Length Desk that includes 6 drawers and a Cork/Shelf Backing. (If you simply don’t have the space, the backing and the 3-drawer chest that coordinate with the Desk can be optional.)
Another alternative is the Utica Bifecta, which can connect up to 3 Twin-Sized Beds.
If you’re after a more sophisticated, mature atmosphere, your tween or teen might prefer the Sierra Captain’s Collection. With Storage Stairs or either High or Low Platform Sides Without Stairs, you can create your own custom configuration. The Pull-Out Desk is a well-designed piece, including Wheels, Open Shelves, and Pencil Drawers. You can fit either one or 2 of the 3-Drawer Dressers under the bed, and each includes a Door Cabinet for flexible storage.
All 4 lines from Berg come in your choice of 6 finishes: White, Sable, Nutmeg, Natural, Chestnut, and Brandy. Added customization with accent colors and hardware color is possible as well. And all are crafted right here in the U.S.A.
