Madison Bookcase Bed (Twin)

Maybe a full-sized bookcase won’t fit in your child’s bedroom, or you don’t need quite as much space as one would provide. Enter the Bookcase Bed. As a subset of the Storage Bed category, this combination piece is one for the books!

The Madison Bookcase Bed

On display in our Long Island Showroom, the Madison Bookcase Bed (pictured above with the optional Rolling Trundle Drawer) can be paired with several other storage and bed frame options. With a Natural White finish and the graceful elegance of our Madison Collection for girls, this bed is a beauty! It comes in either Twin or Full size, and the headboard can be purchased separately, in order to be paired with a metal bed frame and box spring.

The Headboard includes 4 shelves and hidden lift-lid storage that includes cord access, making it ideal for physical books and digital tablet books while eliminating the need for a nightstand. Additional storage possibilities include a 40-inch-wide Rolling Trundle Drawer or an Underbed Storage Drawer with Cubby (for one side or both sides!). The movable side rail can be set to use for a mattress only (allowing for underbed storage) or with a traditional box spring.

The Seaview Collection is crafted with solid wood and comes with a unique custom finish in either Driftwood or Espresso. The Seaview Bookcase Bed combines a simple design with multi-functional potential. The low-profile footboard offers a welcoming, open look as well as added comfort for sitting and climbing in and out of bed. The internal bracket and bolt system allows for attaching the bed rails to the headboard and footboard without exposing bolt heads, and the slat roll foundation provides dependable support without the need for a box spring. The Seaview Bookcase Bed comes in both Twin and Full sizes.

The Isabella collection could be described as stately or even regal, and the Isabella Clapboard Bookcase Daybed is certainly no exception! It comes in your choice of two unusual finishes: Distressed Linen or Distressed Grey. Because it is a Daybed, the Headboard is wider than most Twin-sized beds, running the entire 82-inch width of the bed and providing ample space for books or other items. The bed is 51 inches deep and 49 inches high, with the bookcase headboard. With an optional underbed storage drawer, the Isabella Clapboard Bookcase Daybed is proof that brains and beauty can peacefully coexist!

In case these bookcase beds don’t quite fit with your more traditional taste or you need a little more bang for your buck in the form of added storage, you’re in luck! The Bedroom Source also offers other Bookcase Bed options ready for you to come see or order, today!
